Two knee surgeries

I tore my ACL and meniscus in June 2024. About a year after the first surgery, I needed a second one. This is the road back to the rim.

  3. Between surgeries

    A cyclops lesion

Scar tissue grew in front of the new ACL graft and formed a cyclops lesion about 1 inch by half an inch. The name comes from how it looks on a scope: a round nodule that resembles an eye. Lesions like this can keep the knee from fully straightening.
